Journal of Human Services
The Journal of Human Services (JHS) is excited to announce that we have officially launched our new website on Scholastica’s hosting platform, and we will begin accepting submissions on this site immediately. Our new journal platform will streamline the author submission and peer review process, overseen by a leading panel of experts, ensuring a fair and timely publication experience, and getting innovative research and scholarship into your hands faster. Our new platform will not only improve the user experience but will maximize the discoverability of content for the larger human service community with a mobile-friendly website that is optimized for all aspects of scholarly indexing.
These are just some of the new enhancements that JHS has made over the last few months. We have also transitioned to open-access publishing, which means that all articles will be made freely available worldwide immediately upon publication. In addition, all articles will be published under a Creative Commons license enabling research results to be freely communicated and built upon while ensuring that copyright to the original work remains with the author.
JHS is proud to continue our vision of uniting faculty, administrators, practitioners, and students in the discussion of important and relevant topics in the field of human services. We are committed to the timely distribution of the latest research, innovations, and emerging trends in the human services field. We hope that you are as excited about these positive changes as we are and we look forward to working with all of you to promote and amplify the voices and ideas of the human service community.
