NOHS Supports the Keep Families Together Act

In collaboration with Social Work Helper, the National Organization for Human Services supports the Keep Families Together Act introduced into Congress. This bill was written with child welfare experts and it is also supported by the American Academy of Pediatrics, Kids In Need of Defense (KIND), Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles (CHIRLA), Children’s Law Center, Young Center for Immigrant Rights and the Women's Refugee Commission.

As an organization, we believe that the current policy goes against the values we hold as human services professionals to protect the vulnerable and advocate against acts of injustice.   We encourage you to support this important effort and contribute to the collective voice of human services professionals who continue to passionately fight for the most vulnerable members of our society.  We invite you to join the cause by clicking the link and signing your name  to support this act as well!:
