Lauren Wright

Executive Director
Illinois Partners for Human Services

Lauren Wright is the Executive Director of Illinois Partners for Human Service, a coalition of more than 850 health and human service organizations representing every legislative district in Illinois.  Her vision and experience with building global coalitions, cultivating relationships with diverse stakeholders and creating new opportunities for growth and sustainability are at the core of the Illinois Partners mission. Lauren holds a Master of Arts in Sustainable Development from SIT Graduate Institute and a master’s degree in International Policy and Practice from George Washington University.  Lauren represents Illinois Partners as a member of the State Health Improvement Plan Committee and Health Equity Capacity Assessment Advisory Committee; The 2022 Cohort of the Racial Justice Institute; The Communications sub-committee of the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Pretrial Practices Implementation Task Force; and the Responsible Budget Coalition.

Linda Chamberlain

Dr. Linda Chamberlain is a licensed Psychologist and retired Professor with the Social
and Human Services program at Pasco-Hernando State College in New Port Richey, Florida. She has worked as both an educator and clinician in the field of Human Services and Psychology for over 45 years. Dr. Chamberlain has authored or edited several books including “Practicing Psychotherapy” published in 2021 by Taylor & Francis/Routledge. She has been an invited speaker at local, national, and international conferences.

Peter Leidy

Professional Consultant

Peter Leidy (he/him) is a consultant, speaker, teacher, and singer/songwriter with a background in support and inclusion for people with disabilities.  He works with families and organizations throughout the US and abroad and frequently speaks at conferences, using humor and music in interactive sessions.  Among his passions are inclusion for ALL people, improving workplace communication, building relationships, re-thinking “challenging behavior”, employee support and retention, writing personalized songs, and practicing and teaching mindfulness and stress-reduction.  Peter is an associate with A Centre for Conscious Care.  He also officiates weddings and other ceremonies.  Peter lives in Madison, Wisconsin with his partner of 38 years, Betsy. 

Sarah Ketchen Lipson, Phd, edm

Boston University School of Public Health
Health Minds Network

Sarah Ketchen Lipson (she/her) is an assistant professor in the Department of Health Law Policy and Management at the Boston University School of Public Health. Her research focuses on understanding and addressing mental health and disparities therein within higher education. She is Principal Investigator of the Healthy Minds Network. This includes the Network’s national Healthy Minds Study, an annual mental health survey conducted at hundreds of colleges and universities each year. Sarah’s research has been funded the National Institute of Mental Health and William T. Grant Foundation, among others. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, Boston Globe, Huffington Post, on NPR, and in numerous other national and international media outlets. Sarah completed a dual-PhD at University of Michigan in the Schools of Public Health and Education. She received her bachelor’s degree from Tufts University, her master’s from Harvard University, and was a Fulbright scholar.
