Lenore McNeer Award
This award is presented to a member of the NOHS or a person who has made a distinctive contribution to the field of human services as a practitioner or as an educator. Examples of accomplishments for this award might include any, but not necessarily all, of the following:
- Nationally and internationally known for research and scholarship
- External funding that has led to significant and ongoing contribution to the field of human services
- Ongoing and demonstrated contribution to NOHS
- Ongoing and demonstrated contribution to a human services community organization that has received national recognition
Your application will be evaluated on the following criteria using a five-point scale where 5 = Outstanding and 1 = Doesn’t Meet
- Member of NOHS for at least one year and current memberComplete application packet with no late materials
- Two letters from professionals that attest to accomplishments of the nominee / applicant
- Resume / vitae from nominee / applicant
- Additional documents that testify to the accomplishments of the nominee / applicant
